Going to Midway

Yesterday, me, Emily and my dad all went to Midway. We went mini putting about three times,. I won once and Emily won twice. After we were done playing, you would try and put it in a hole to try and win candy. We didn't win any, but it was fun trying. We also tried bumper cars, which was also fun. We even did rock climbing twice. I climbed three of the easy ones, but the others were hard for me. Emily easily finished them all, after all, she is a gymnast. We also went in the "Jungle gym" which is pretty much just a huge play structure with a bouncy tent. We played hide and seek, which was hard since it was pretty big. We also just explored around. After we were done, we went to eat. I had a hot dog, me and Emily shared a slushie, she had pogos and my dad had wraps. It was good. After that, we went to the arcade. There were lots of fun games, like pinball tables, games where you shoot rockets to try and hit a ship, racing games, and lots of other types of games. We had fun, and with all of our tickets, we got toys and candy for the way back. We had lots of fun at midway. After we were done, Emily went to gymnastics where we saw Alexandra, Tristan, Elizabeth and Grandma. Alexandra had class at about the same time, so they were just dropping her off. After that, we pretty much relaxed for the rest of the day. On Saturday, we went to the library, where I got two games for the Wii; Dirt 2, and Punch out. After that, we went to Wendy's to eat lunch, and after that we went to Costco to do some shopping. We also tried some free samples. After we were done shopping, we went home and played basketball. It was me and dad vs. Emily and mom. Me and dad won by a little bit. After that, me and Mom played a game of 21. I won 21-6. After playing basketball, we ate lasagna for supper and afterwards we played Clue. I was about to win, but I was one spot away from being able to guess, until my Mom guesses correctly. I was really close. After that, we relaxed for the rest of the day.

Drafting

On Tuesday, my sister had gymnastics. She had fun. I also had soccer that day. But, it ended up getting canceled because it started pouring like crazy. There was also some thunder and lightning. So, I ended up not going to soccer for the second or third time. The next day, my dad had a dentist appointment. Me and Emily just waited until he was done. After he was done, since his dentist's appointment was at the mall, we ended up looking around at some of the stores. We looked at EB games, gamestop, justice, entertainment ink, and some other stores. We saw interesting things, and we even got to try out a smoothie. It was delicious. After we were done, we just stayed at home for the rest of the day. On Thursday, Alexandra, Tristan, Elizabeth and grandma came over. We played the rubik's cube game again. After they left, we walked with them to our mailbox. After we came back, we had a magic draft. We all opened three packs each, and then we played. I came in second, my sister won and my dad came in 3rd. After that, me and Emily biked around the block for a bit. After that, we played badminton with our new set up badminton net. After we were done playing, we pretty much relaxed for the rest of the day.

Meeting my new cousin

On Thursday, I went to my friend Nic's house. We went swimming, we played Skylanders, Minecraft, a computer game called Happy Wheels, and some other fun things. We had lots of fun. The following day, Emily and uncle Steven both went mini-putting. Apparently Uncle Steven won. They both had fun. They also went to Dairy Queen afterwards. After they were done, uncle Steven came over to play for the rest of the day. We played Wii sports resort, Mario baseball and mario kart. We had lots of fun. The next day, me and Emily altar served in the morning. We had fun. After that, Emily invited Alexandra to come play and I invited my friend Jacob. Me and Jacob played minecraft, basketball, we watched big brother, we played jenga, scrabble we tried some kind of IQ test, and we played a game called monkey and monster with my dad and the girls. You had to find a rubix cube, solve it, and bring it back into a hoop without getting caught by the monster. The "Monkeys" always won. We had a fun time. The day after, I went to my grandma's house to pull some weeds. We also jumped in the pool, played at the playstructure, and I even got payed for pulling the weeds. Afterwards, I went to my aunt Christina and uncle Mike's house to go meet my new cousin, Evan. He was so cute! I always love seeing babies. It was fun. I had another fun weekend.

Playing tennis

Yesterday, I biked over to my friend Etienne's house. We went swimming twice, the first time we mostly talked and the second we played shark. We also played Battlefield, we tried to catch a bird (which we failed to do), we tried to make a youtube video off of a secret glitch on mario kart (which we also failed to do). We had lots of fun. After I left, we picked up my mom from the bus stop. A little later, we watched big brother. The following day, me, my dad and my sister all went to play tennis. After we were done, we played at the park for a little bit. A little bit later that day, we went to Alexandra's to swim. We swam for about two hours. That's all we did this weekend. Playing lots of magic

I forgot to mention in my last post that I went over to Ben's house to play magic for a bit. I had fun. We played a few games, we traded and yeah, that's pretty much it. The following day, I played magic with my dad (using my new deck). I lost most of the games, but I still won a few of them. I also received my new tablet that day. I went swimming at Alexandra's, which was fun. The water was really warm. Emily also had her first gymnastics class of the year. She had lots of fun. Me and my dad played a basketball game that we called "Around the world 21". You had to score a point from where the ball landed, and then afterwards score 6 in a row from designated spots. I ended up winning. It was really hot outside that day, so I was really tired by the end of it. That's pretty much what I did for those couple days.

A Fun Little Weekend

On Friday, we pretty much just stayed home all day. So, nothing much on Friday. On Saturday, me, my sister and my mom all went to see Despicable Me 2. It was a good movie. In my opinion, it was as funny, if not even funnier than the first one. That was pretty much all that we did that day. The following day, I tried the two new timbits; the caramel and the orange. They were both good, like they always are. I also went to my friend Benoit's for a swim. We also went on his went trampoline (which we sprayed). He also showed me some YouTube videos, a game called Dead Island and some other things. I had lots of fun. After I came back, I watched one of my favorite shows, Big Brother. So, I had a quiet weekend.

My friends' cottage

So, for almost the entire week, I went to my friends Miguel's cottage. The first day, we played a game called washer. You have to try and throw rings on a board, and on that board there are holes. If you get it in the holes, it's extra points. The player you are facing can cancel those points by getting the same amount. It was fun, even though I lost almost every game. The following day, we played more washer, we played a couple games of croquet, we went swimming in a lake, me and Miguel played on the Wii, and DS, and at the end oif the day, we played pass the ace.  The next day, we played more croquet, more washer, more video games, we went swimming again. We also played a board game called "Sorry!" I came 2nd, while Miguel won. His aunt came in last. The following day, we had a washer tournament. I was with Miguel. We were in first place in the "tryouts" and then we lost in the elimination, coming in last place. It was still fun. We also played a game called "Pitonk". Someone would throw a small ball, then you try and throw a heavy ball as close to it as possible. It was boys vs. girls. We won, but it was a really close game. The following day we did about the same things, except we played darts, where you have to throw a "dart" into a hoop. We also played "Jok r ummy" (a board game) The following day we played a card game called "Trou de Q". You try and get rid of your hand before anyone else by placing a higher card than the one that just got played. We also had another washer tournament, which me and Miguel's dad both came last. Miguel ended up winning with his aunt. The following and last day we went fishing and we caught a fish. We let it go after. We also saw some turtles. A bit after that, it was time to leave. I had so much fun.

My end-year baseball tournament.

A couple days ago, I went to my friend Etienne's to play. We played with the "Color Ball". (The same ball that we played with at my sister's party). We had fun. We also made up a "Death version" where we have the timer going, but if we have it in our hands while it explodes, we're "dead". It was funny. We also went swimming. We played Colors, and Shark. Shark is a game where you must push your opponent the other side of the pool, while trying not to get pushed in the opposite direction. We also played Mario Kart Wii. He also showed me a game called "Battlefield". It was cool, we can fly jets, helicopters, drive tanks and stuff like that. We had lots of fun. The following day, I went to my grandma's since my dad went to pick up Elizabeth. We went swimming, and me and Emily biked back home after we were done. Afterwards we went to Swiss chalet for my graduation dinner. I ordered wings, like usual. It was really fun. My baseball tournament was the day after. We played three games, and we won all three of them. Which means today we will be playing in the finals for the A division. Yay! Yesterday I went to my friend Jacob's in between games to cool down in his pool. And after the final game, I went to my friend Nicolas' house for a "pool party". Some of my other baseball friends were there too, like Miguel, Jacob, and Alex. It was fun. After we got out, we played hide and seek, which was also very fun.

Going to the beach

Two days ago, I had my second baseball practice of the season. I did a lot of running, since I was practicing running to bases and that kind of stuff. I also practiced hitting, catching, throwing and a few other things. I had fun. The day after, me, my sister, my dad, Tristan, Alexandra and grandma all went to the beach. We saw a turtle which Emily and Alexandra called Shelly. They got to pick him up. We saw other turtles from a distance. Afterwards we went to the beach. We got buried in the sand, we played Jackpot, wee went swimming, and we all had lots of fun. After that, me and Emily biked to Alexandra's to play for a bit. We then biked back home. We had fun over there. So, this weekend wasn't super busy, but it was still quite fun.

Canada Day!

On Saturday, it was Emily's birthday party. We had lots of fun. Emily got clothes from Justice, a gift card for Joshua Perets, some books, money and some other things. We played with a kind of ball game. There are a few game modes, Fast pass, where you have to quickly pass the ball to others. If you're too slow to pass it, you'll have to restart. There is also Code challenge, where you have to find the correct passing order to move on to the next level. There is also Add one, where you make up your own pattern, but every time, you add one. You then do that same pattern backwards and on and on. And finally, there's your out. This game mode is like fast pass where you must quickly pass it to others, but there's a timer, so if you have the ball while the timer goes off, you're eliminated. The last one standing wins. It's sort of like hot potato. The day after Emily and Alexandra both had their last swimming class. They both passed. Afterwards, my family went to my grandma's for a Canada day BBQ. I had brought a puzzle ball, where you have to rotate the ball to keep a little marble balanced on different levels. Almost everyone tried, and the current record is level 44. (Held by my mom) There are 100 levels in total. The day after was Canada day!! Me, my dad and Emily all volunteered downtown. I was helping kids get off of a little train ride. I was also passing out some coloring things to kids who were passing by. After my work hours were nearly over, I helped bring the train back by telling people where to go while the train was coming. My sister and my dad helped artists get prepared and stuff like that.We got a free lunch, which was really good, and we then bought some ice cream. We then went to the vars celebration to watch the fireworks. It was pretty crowded for a small village. Me and my friends watched the fireworks together. They were really cool, the fireworks were about ten minutes long. Before the fireworks started, we just played a weird hat-stealing game. We all had fun.
