Cleaning up

Yesterday we cleaned up a bit, and I had another baseball game. It was the last baseball game for the regular season, and we won it. So, our baseball team is undefeated and remains #1 after the regular season. Me and my team were all happy. Me and Emily also finished putting sand in my basketball net. It is now finished, and I can play with it whenever now. Yay! And today I did some more cleaning up for Emily's birthday party tommorow. Emily made strawberry milkshakes's for all of us and me and her also added some stamps to our stamp collection. We had lots of fun. I also played some hockey in the basement. So, I pretty much cleaned for the last couple days.

Setting up my basketball net

Today me, my dad and Emily all set up my basketball net that my grandma gave me. (Thanks!) It was very fun, I helped put the posts together, set up the netting, but some sand in the base, screw in a lot of bolts, and some other things. I got lots of help from my dad, but I still had fun putting it together. We afterwards played a quick game of 21. I won, but we didn't quite have time to finish our game. I also went to my cousin Alexandra's to swim. I also got to play with my little cousin Tristan. We had fun. We also went on a "Slip and Slide". We had lots of fun. Well, that pretty much wraps up my day. Thank you all for reading my blog, it really means lots to me. :)

Strawberry picking

Today me and my family went strawberry picking at the Proulx farm. I ate most of the strawberry's, unlike the rest of my family. We had fun, and we picked a lots of strawberry's. After we were done picking, we went on some of their slides, we did two mazes, which was really fun. Me and Emily raced in each of them. In the first one, Emily found the middle first, but I found the way out first. We had decided earlier that it was the first one in the middle and out that won, so I won the first one; and in the second maze we tied. We had lots of fun. That was about the only thing we did today other than staying at home.

My grandpa's memorial

So, I slept over at my grandma's today. We both went to see my grandpa's memorial. It was really nice, and it made me think lots about him. I want to go to it again next year, no doubt. Afterwards, we went to my baseball game. Our team won 16-10 and I caught the last fly-ball of the game. We then went back to her house where we saw my cousins; Christine and Elizabeth. Tristan wanted to play with me, so we played together for a while. And then Aunt Karen and Ben arrived, so we decided to swim. The water was so cold, we ended up just swimming for like two minutes. Me and Tristan played for another little while, until it was his bed time. So I then went outside to talk for a bit. After a bit, Aunt Karen and Ben left, and we all just went to bed. The next morning, my little cousin Tristan and I played in the "party room" for a while. And then we had smiley faced pancakes for breakfast. Me, Tristan and Alexandra played the Cut the Rope board game. Alexandra ended up winning, because she got all of the easiest levels. But, a win is still a win! We then played monopoly with grandma. Tristan just moved his vehicle anywhere he wanted, so he was kinda playing freestyle mode. I was losing in the start, but I caught up and placed hotels on two of my properties. Then my sister Emily came and took grandma's place. Alexandra landed on my hotel twice. The first time, she was missing $1 to have have completely payed me, but Emily helped her out and gave her $10. Emily landed on my hotel once, and she didn't have enough to pay me. So, Emily gave all of her buildings to Alexandra to give her a little boost. The second time Alexandra landed on my hotel she was short a lot of money. She did get saved about five times, though, so I thought Emily should have came second. But anyways, I ended up winning. I still had about $7500 dollars left, so I was pretty happy for that big win. We then went in the pool. We had a race, and I ended up coming last. The girls also played "Colours". Colours is a game where all of the players think of a colour, and the person trying to catch you will name out colours. If your colour is called out you will try and secretly swim to the other side. The person calling out these colours will then try to catch you. Then my dad came and we tried to balance on his shoulders. And then me and Tristan played in the play structure. The girls made some kind of beach, and it actually kind of looked real. We then had to leave. Me and Emily biked home, and  my dad walked. I spent the rest of my day at home. Since I am publishing this before my last swimming class, I must say that later on will be my last swimming class. I am pretty excited. Whoa, this must be the longest blog post I've ever made.

My 100th blog post!

Today will be my 100th blog post. Yay! So, I forgot to mention this in my last blog post, but me, my sister and my dad all went for a 20k bike ride. We went from our house to Birchgrove and back. It was a very fun experience. And while I was biking, I could see a few of my friend's houses. It was interesting to know that they don't live so far away after all. 20 kilometers is equal from going from my house to Place D'Orleans. I was surprised that I could actually bike that far. Today, I went to the park for a bit to watch a baseball game. It was raining, and really cold. Afterwards I spent the rest of my day at home. Today wasn't super busy.

Schools out!

Well, this is my first blog post this year, and I am really excited to share the things I will be doing this summer! Me and my class went to La Ronde for our end-year class trip. It was really fun, there were huge rollercoasters, go karts, swings, games, food and much more! It was so fun, i'd want to go back there for sure. Abhout a week after, me and my class graduated elementary school. We all had a blast! We had a water balloon fight, some sandwiches for lunch, an ice cream cake afterwards, we also played in the inflatable playgrounds. Our teacher made us each a small yearbook, which was really cool. I had a great last day of school. After school, I went to our school BBQ. We pretty much just talked and played in the bouncy tents. I had a great time. Next year, I won't be going to the same school anymore since ill be going to Béatrice-Desloges during Junior High. Our baseball team is doing super well this year, since we are currently undefeated. And today I went to Friday Night Magic. I didn't win, but I still had fun. So yeah, another school year so quickly finished.

Last days in Baltimore

Friday morning, we went swimming in our hotel pool. I has lots of fun, and Emily was proud that she was able to touch the bottom of the deep end. After swimming, we went to visit my baby cousin, Alexia. We just relaxed over there. Afterwards, we went to see the nearby baseball game. It was Baltimore vs. Toronto. Baltimore won 6-4, and one of there players scored 3 home runs in a row. It was a great experience, there were also neat fireworks at the end.The following day, we went to visit them again just before we left. Me and Lily invented animal songs. On the ride back, we went to subway, dunkin' donuts, McDonalds and we looked at gamestop. In the car, I listened to music, played my Ds, read quidditch through the ages, rested and some other things. What an amazing time I had at Baltimore! P.S. This is my last entry this summer. I hope you all enjoyed!

Third day at Baltimore

During my third day at Baltimore, we went to Costco where I got a bit of school supplies. Emily also wanted to go to PetSmart, where she got her hamster cotton some corn which can be popped into popcorn. For lunch, we went to friendly's. It's a restaurant where they make really delicious ice cream. They also serve meals, but they make really good ice cream. After eating there, we went to my Uncle Derek and aunt Yulia's to visit again. We went for a walk while we were over there, and they were filming a show called House of Cards. We also had a magic draft while we were there, and I got some pretty cool cards.

Second day at Baltimore

During my second day at Baltimore, we went to the national zoo. We saw lions, tigers, flamingos, gorilla's, and a whole ton of other things. It was very fascinating. We also had lunch over there. There was an aquatic area, an insect area, a bird area and a whole lot more. We went to Olive garden to have supper afterwards. I had chicken strips. It was quite delicious. We went back to our hotel to swim in the pool. It was very fun, the water was very nice. Then, I relaxed until I went to sleep.

First day in Baltimore

On Tuesday, we woke up early for our trip to Baltimore. The car ride was about 9-10 hours. I played my ds, read some books, listened to music, rested and played with stuffed animals. We stopped by burger king to have lunch. There was something called the family food, which asks family feud questions on it, and we won 3 chicken wraps since we got all three of ours right. When we arrived at the hotel, we just looked around, and all. We also went to my uncle Derek's and aunt Yulia's to see my new baby cousin, Alexia. She was very cute. I had a very fun time over there. Very fun in baltimore so far!

Me and my mom

During the past couple days, we invited our friend Katie for a sleepover. We all went to see diary of a wimpy kid: dog days in the theaters. It was a good and funny movie.We also went to Emily's gymnastics demonstration at a park. We saw my uncle Allan there. There was a bouncy tent, and a slide with some water and bubbles on it. Me, Emily and Katie tried both of them. Katie also tried the gymnastics things. Me and Katie went on some of the parks. We had watermelon, burgers and cotton candy while we were there. When we came back, the three of us played a bit with barbie dolls. After a while, we went to bed and read diary of a wimpy kid books. The day after, the girls played disney princesses on the wii. I played smash bros. and wii play after they were done. We also went for a walk, but I rode my bike instead. Afterwards, we played Harry Potter scene it. Katie and Emily were against me, and they won. After Katie was gone, me and my mom went to play tennis. We had a lot of fun. We also went to dairy queen afterwards. While we were there, we looked at the used book shop. I had a fun day out with my mom this year.

Inviting my cousins

Yesterday, I invited my cousins Bradley and Shane to come over. We went and got some wings, fries, pizza and potato salad for lunch. We all went over to my cousin Alexandra's for a swim. We played colors, raced and did high and long jump. Afterwards, we just played on her play structure. After we were done playing at her house, we went to my house. We played with water balloon's, played badminton, played on the wii, and on the computer. We also played our DS's on the way back. We were playing capture the flag, and I didn't do so well, they took my flag a lot. We had a ton of fun. I also went to the park while my mom did her boot camp. My sister saw her friend while we were there, so we all played together. We played on the swing, played grounders, up and down, and other kinds of things. I had a lot of fun over there, so did my sister and my mom. I also had my final soccer game. I scored about 3-5 goals, and we won by a lot. I did really well this time. Me, my sister and dad all went to the tim hortons camp in quebec. It was really cool seeing all of the kids play together. Me and Emily swam, went rock climbing and tried out their swing. We had an amazing time.I pretty much relaxed the rest of the time.

A fun few days

During the past few days, I went to my friends Katie, Alex and Emma's house for their birthday party. This year's theme was Harry Potter. They had decorated their house with Harry Potter things. I played outside on their trampoline, I played soccer with my dad, and played on their swings. They also made chocolate frogs as seen in the movie/the book. They also put one of the characters on their toilet seat.It was very fun. I also invited my friend Etienne over. We played basketball in our basement, played badminton, played on the wii and on the computer. We had a whole lot of fun. I also went to swim at my cousin Alexandra's house. I also practiced riding my bike at her house. Me, my dad and sister also all went for a bike ride.

The meteor shower

Yesterday we had my cousins Shane, Bradley, Jonathan, Ben, Cameron and my friend Miguel for the meteor shower. We played the wii, the computer, played a lot of soccer, I played some badminton, and we all talked outside.We also played with my nerf guns, we played basketball in my room, and played magic. Me, Bradley, Shane and Miguel were taking pictures of ourselves, we were doing a relativity test, and we merged photos together. We didn't have a campfire, or look at the shooting stars this year, since it was raining and very wet. Instead of camping outside, we camped in our garage. Me, Brad, Shane and Miguel slept in our own tent, and the rest of the boys slept in their own tent. During the night, we had pokemon battles, recorded our voices, made movies on the ds and just talked. The following day, we had chocolate chip pancakes, played nerf, played soccer, and the wii. When Miguel left, we started playing on the computer. We also had a fun soccer match, it was a really close game. I also played some more magic with Cameron. And then, everyone left. I had an amazingly fun time, it was the best meteor shower yet!! After they left, we went to the Navan fair. There were some cool looking rides, but we only got to go on a few of them. I went on the ferris wheel with my sister, a guitar kind of ride where it rotates very high, then rotates back down. I also went on the bumper cars with my sister. I went on a ride with my dad where it starts spinning you, then it starts going higher, and after you start tilting backwards. It pretty much tilts you backwards, going really high spinning really fast. We also played some games, we played a water gun game where you try and hit a target with a water gun, and the first one to have their monkey reach the top wins. If you hit the target, your monkey goes up. We also played a similar game, except instead of a monkey it's water. Emily also played a balloon popping game.We also looked at the navan fair contest results, we looked at some animals, and we saw the comedy group the cowguys. It was really funny.

Movie on the beach

For this year's movie on the beach, I invited my friends Isaak, Felix-Antoine and Nicolas. We started by swimming in the lake. We found seaweed and threw it at each other, played jackpot with a volley-ball and raced in the water. It was a lot of fun. After, we had a snack and started to pretend to be playing Minecraft until the movie started. The movie ended at about 10:30. When we got home, we played our video games in the tent. I was getting tired so I went to sleep a little earlier than everyone else. The day after, me and Isaak were the only ones awake so we went inside to play. When it was breakfast, Nicolas woke up. After we ate, we played a game on the wii called super smash bros. It's pretty much a normal fighting game. After Nicolas and Felix-Antoine left, me and Isaak went to bike to my friend Brad's house. Isaak was too tired to continue so he got picked up and went home. Me and my dad went to my friend Brad's for a bit. After, me, my dad and Brad all biked back to my house. Me and Brad played Roblox, Minecraft and watched youtube videos. I had a fun, busy 2 days.

Swimming at splash

Two days ago, I had a soccer game. It was a pretty close game, I think we lost 3-2. I had a lot of fun. On Wednesday, me, my sister and dad all went swimming at a public pool called Splash. There is a big slide, a pool, a wave pool and a hot tub. We did a bit of each. My dad ripped his swim suit, so me and my sister swam alone for the rest of the time. It was a great way to spend our afternoon. Today I went to my cousin Alexandra's house to swim, and watch a bit of the olympics. I had fun, the girls also taught me what they do as warm up's for their gymnastics.

Mini putting

Two days ago, Me, my mom and dad all went mini-putting at Golfland. We had a lot of fun, my dad came first, followed by my mom, who only came 2nd by a couple of points. At the end, you putt the ball in a machine which has holes. Some holes took points away from your score and 1 hole got you a free game. My dad got -3 points, my mom got -1 point and I won a free game! I was so happy. The day after, me and my dad played badminton outside. I lost all of the games but I still had a lot of fun. Me and my family also played cranium, which is a board game where you have questions,stunts or guess what someone is drawing. Me and my dad were on a team, against my mom and sister. Me and my dad were winning, until it was their turn. They got the answer right, and if they rolled a 6 they would win. And, they rolled a six. So, we lost, but we were very close.

Lots of playing!

Three days ago, my sister and my dad went to watch my cousin Alexandra's gymnastic class. They could not see Alexandra's warm up's because she was doing them upstairs. They also went to the superstore to get snacks. Emily was going to save them for Alexandra, but she was too hungry and ate them all. I also went to see Emily's gymnastics in competitive for my first time. She did back handspring's, back walkover's, front walkover's a handstand and a tick- tock (a front walkover and back) and a cartwheel on the beam. She did a routine and she practiced her kips. She did not stop doing things on the trampoline. She climbed the rope without using her legs. On the vault she couldn't do the front handspring's with her legs straight and her teacher knew she could do it, her legs just didn't go straight. She did lots of other things. She is so good! 
The day after, me, Emily, Alexandra, my dad and my friends Isaac, Aaron and Canaan went to Mont Cascades. There were a lot of cool slides. There was a vortex, dark slides, fast slides and a sort of Boomerang like at Calypso. There was also a racing slide. I once did a false start because I slipped and slid. Whoops! After that, Aaron came over for a sleepover. We played Minecraft and with my sister's hamster, Cotton a.k.a. Squeaky. We also went to me and my sister's soccer games. I had a few breakaways but I missed all of them. Aaron also played on my team as a goalie. The day after, we played Minecraft against each other, badminton,went for a walk and played with Cotton. I lost very badly against Aaron on minecraft because he always stole my items and killed me whenever I was close. We also went to a BBQ after the sleepover. The day after, me and my sister played our DS's in the morning, played badminton, played a back to the future game in our basement and Alexandra came over to play for a couple of minutes. Me and my sister also played on the wii for a bit after Alexandra left.

Sleepover at a friend's

Yesterday, I went bike riding with my dad. We went as far as sarsfield this time. I also played Minecraft. I pretty much just survived the zombies because I was hiding in my house. I also had a sleepover at my friend Isaak's house. My sister also had a sleepover with his sister, Nève. Me and Isaak played our DS's, we swam in their pool, played on the computer and played outside. I had lots of fun. The day after, we played our DS's and swam in the pool. We also just relaxed outside for a bit. Quite a relaxing Sunday.

Bike rides

Yesterday I went to my dad's dentist for his checkup. Me and Emily simply played our DS's while we waited. We also went to dollarama, future shop and Wal-mart. When we got back home, I played minecraft which I got (with the help and permission from my dad) and I had fun playing it. Me and him also went for a bike ride. The road was very bumpy and had a lot of rocks. This was a very fun experience. I also went swimming at my cousin Alexandra's house. We swam for about 15-30 minutes. The day after, I practiced riding my bike on the driveway. I also played with Emily on minecraft and outside.
